Reggie Williams
Dr. Reggie Williams was the main speaker at the 2018 McClendon Symposium in Amsterdam. Williams is a christian ethicist at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. His research is mainly focussed on the interpretation of Jesus, race, politics and the black church. Reggie will talk about “Reading Lives as Sacred Text: The Incarnational Ethics of Martin Luther King Jr., Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and Harriet Tubman”. He’s also the author of “Bonhoeffer's Black Jesus: Harlem Renaissance Theology and an Ethic of Resistance”, witch was selected as a Choice Outstanding Title in 2015.
